2022 SPRING TRI-NIGHTER: CAMBRIA CA

Cambria is a quaint town located on Highway 1, about 10 miles south of the Hearst Castle and about 30 miles north of Morro Bay.  It’s a small artistic coastal town with great restaurants and shopping.  We will stay at the beautiful Cambria Pines Lodge in Cambria.  The Lodge sits on 25 acres of gardens with a pool, hot tub, restaurant, day spa, an EV charging station along with two Tesla charging stations.  A full complimentary breakfast is served in the restaurant. 

Driving time to Cambria from Oakmont is about 4 ½ hours, arriving on Monday and checking out on Thursday. Individual reservations must be made by March 26 but can be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance.  For more details on the hotel property and rooms, visit www.cambriapineslodge.com.

We have a great selection of hikes planned with a possible optional tour of the Hearst Castle on Thursday. The Castle has been closed for several months now due to damage to the road leading up to the Castle that was caused by heavy rain last winter. The Castle is scheduled to re-open in the first quarter of 2022.

This is also the peak season to see thousands of elephant seals.
