INTERMEDIATE: Chanslor Ranch - Bodega

Sonoma County Regional Parks newest acquisition, Chanslor Ranch, is nestled in the hills along Highway 1, featuring ponds and wetlands, coastal grassland, ocean views, and Salmon Creek as it flows into the sea. Two intermediate levels of hikes with both hiking along the Pond Trail, Osprey and Salmon Creek trails. A 5 miles with some steep undulating spots along the Salmon Creek trail, 400 ft elev option and a 6 mile, 750-1000 ft elev that only does part of Salmon but includes the Vista Trail with 2 optional higher elev viewpoints. Bring poles, sunscreen and lunch. Temporarily no fee. Leave the Berger at 8:30.
