INTERMEDIATE: Jack London State Park

This  5.5  mile hike begins at the upper parking lot of Beauty Ranch. We walk along the vineyard then turn onto Lake trail with its majestic redwoods.  We  continue via Quarry Trail to the New Fallen Bridge Trail with moderate ups and downs along the way.  We'll cut through the newly rejuvenated historic orchard and continue on to the Ancient Redwood. We'll  return via the just improved Vineyard Trail with a final weave through the redwoods of the Lake Trail.  Many shady picnic tables await us under the old oak trees as we end our hike.  

Elevation gain  500 ft. 

Bring water, snacks and lunch if you want .  Restrooms in the parking lots .   Depart Berger at 9a.m.
