INTERMEDIATE: Jenner Headlands

Absolutely beautiful costal views here!  We will hike the Sea to Sky trail and then the Raptor Ridge Trail for a total of 4.5 miles and 941 feet of elevation.  Many rare and endangered species inhabit the property including the northern spotted owl, peregrine falcon and red tree vole.  Deer, bobcat, coyote, mountain lion and steelhead trout are also found on the property, not to mention those lovable Dutch Belted Cows.  Bring your poles, sunscreen and wind protection in case it's cool and windy.   Earlier 8:30 start from the Berger lot on this one due to drive time, about 1 hour and 10 minutes.  Group lunch at Northwoods Restaurant in Monte Rio approximately 12:30 or 12:45.    Hike Leader:  Gary Andersen  360-778-9604  Click on the link for the menu:
