INTERMEDIATE: Lake Lagunitas, Marin Water District

Intermediate Hike July 27: Marin Water District, loop around Lagunitas and Bon Tempe Lakes. Please note early start time. The trail hugs the lakes  with beautiful views across the water.  Port-a-potties at the trailhead and two other locations around the lake. Optional stop in the quaint town of Fairfax after for cold drinks/pastry at the Coffee Roastery and/or ice cream at Fairfax Scoop. About 6 miles, 335 ft elevation gain. Some stairs at different points in the hike. Bring lunch, water, poles if needed, sunhat and sunscreen recommended. About 1 hour, 20 minutes driving time. Marin Water District is not in the State or National Park system. Parking fees $8.00 per vehicle, purchased at kiosks near the entrance.  Leave Berger 8:30 AM.
