About the event
We will hike from Shell Beach up the Pomo Canyon Trail to the Red Hill Junction – continue up to the crest of Red Hill where we will have a snack overlooking the ocean. Then we will pass thru a lovely old Redwood Grove and several natural arbors of wind sculpted old fir trees. About 5 miles with 1000 ft elevation. Leave Berger at 8:30 (note earlier time to allow for the drive) Bring water, snack, and poles if you like.
