INTERMEDIATE: Sonoma Coast Red Hill

Red Hill Trail Loop- hike from Shell Beach up the Pomo Canyon Trail to the Red Hill junction – continue up to the crest of Red Hill where we will have lunch overlooking the ocean.  Then we will pass thru a lovely old Redwood Grove and several natural arbors of wind sculpted old fir trees. About 5.5 miles with 800 ft elevation gain, much of which is in the first ¾ mile.  Leave Berger at 9:00 am. Bring water and the usual stuff.
