INTERMEDIATE: Taylor Mountain

A steady climb to the summit of Taylor Mountain via the western route. Fantastic  views  the whole way and maybe a cow or two.  A few parts of the trail are rocky,  5.1 miles and 1,171 feet of elevation so this will be a cardio workout but it will be at a moderate pace with short breaks.   Departs from Berger at 9:00 am and should by back to Oakmont 1:00 pm.  Bring a snack or lunch if you wish as there are picnic tables near the parking lot so you can enjoy your lunch there when we finish the hike.  Bonnie's Brownies for dessert.    Starts from the Taylor Mountain Regional Parking Lot on Petaluma Hill Rd.  Regional park pass or $7.00 for parking.
