The Big Rock Ridge trail passes through sections of the Lucas Valley Open Space Preserve. This hike features nice views and meanders through a mixed range of elevation and biomes.

About the event
Enjoy this 6.7-mile out-and-back trail near San Rafael, California with 1,300' elevation change. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 18 min to complete. And catch a good view of the George Lucas compound from above. This is a very popular area for hiking.
