Long: Bolinas Ridge Loop

Enjoy the Bolinas Ridge Loop trail in Samuel P. Taylor State Park. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, the first two miles are up a grade with 1,100 feet of elevation thru the redwoods.  Aftrer that, it's senic views of the coast on the trail thru grassy hillsides.  The final 4 miles are thru redwoods along the river.     Great views of Inverness and Point Reyes, travel time from Oakmont is 1 hour, 10 minutes.  11.1 miles, 1421feet elevation gain.  Bring your lunch, we depart Berger at 8:30 am. and returning around 4:45 pm.  Bonnie's Brownies for dessert!
