Due to impending bad weather expected on Thursday, and an open date on Thurs May 19, this scheduled Long Hike has been postponed one week.

About the event
This is an 11.6 mile hike with an elevation gain of 1850 ft. Hikers will wind their way over to the
historic orchard by Camp Via. We’ll then ascend the Coon Trap Trail up to the Sonoma Ridge
Trail. Turning SE we’ll follow the East Slope Trail to the Eliot loop where we’ll stop for lunch.
The return route will be by the East Slope, Sonoma Ridge, and Mountain Trails. Bring a lunch,
sunscreen and lots of liquids. Depart from the Berger Center at 8:30. Hike leader is Dave
