LONG: Hearts Desire Beach - Tomales Point State Park

This shaded hike visits at least three beaches on the west side of Tomales Bay. We start at the Tomales Bay State Park access to Shell Beach. The Parking lot located off of Camino Del Mar near Inverness,  CA. The out and back hike to Hearts Desire Beach and Indian Beach is 9.5 miles with 1420 ft. of elevation. The trail is mostly compressed soil with gradual elevations. Lunch is at Vista Point overlooking Heart Desire Beach after we visit Indian Beach. The overlook has picnic tables and flush toliets. Leave the Berger Center parking lot at 8:30AM. Bring lunch, water and a hat. State Park Pass is needed. Drive time is 1 hour and 20 minutes. Hike leader: Frank Galli 763.360.9756
