This hike in Point Reyes replaces the Table Rock hike due to the heat advisory. Â Â Through open pasture, past ponds, and beside the baby blue waters of the Estero where oyster farms once held sway, to Drakes head with views of Limantour beach to the south and cliffs of Drake's Bay stretching to the northern horizon. 9 miles and 1000 ft elevation gain. Â This dramatic hike didn't make the cut for the schedule this year - until now. Leave the Berger parking lot at 8.30am, bring water, lunch, and a windbreaker, although the forecast is mild.
