About the event

This park, which opened only 4 years ago, has a different feel, it's on sacred Native American land, between Sonoma’s mountains and valleys, and San Pablo Bay. It is both wild and partly grazed, and features several elevated viewpoints, with expansive vistas, and a small natural lake.  We will take a 9.5 mile hike using multiple trails to link three of the four main viewpoints, accumulating about 1000ft elevation gain. Previously we have taken the ridge trail 8.5 mile out and back to the fourth vista point. Meet at the Berger at 8.30am, bring lunch, water, and dress in layers in case of wind or sun. An easy 40 minute drive down Sonoma Valley. Hike leader Martin Johns.
