About the event
We begin by hiking north across classic California coastal bluff terrain from Wright's Beach to Goat Rock and Blind Beach. Along the way glacial created sea stacks will tempt a climb to the top. Lichen, Douglas iris, lupine, and Indian paintbrush decorate along the 4 mile Kortum trail. Minimal climbing as we descend and ascend Furlong Gulch twice. 8 miles total, round trip. 600 ft elevation gain. Bring water, lunch/snack. Hike leader John Ferreira (650)766-0497
