About the event
Taking part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail in Jack London Park, this roughly 9 mile hike with about 1,800 feet of elevation gain, starts along the Vineyard Trail, then climbs up to the ridge of Sonoma Mountain via the Coon Trap Trail. The latter is rocky in parts. Great views once we reach the actual ridge. Return sticks close to the ridge before descending through pretty woods before joining the Mountain trail.
Bring water, poles, lunch; start from the Berger at 8.30am. Leader: Chris Jones 707-291-5461.
