About the event
Starting under Monterey Cypress trees we hike thru a tule elk sanctuary with sensational views of the ocean and bays. Bush lupine will be in full bloom along the trail to fresh water ponds that draw wild life. Coyotes have the right of way. We will dodge the tule elk before lunching at Tomales point where last year we saw frolicking whales. 1 1/2 hour drive from Berger Center. 9 3/4 mile hike with less than 1,000 ft elevation gain. Bring plenty of water, lunch/snack and layers. Leader John Ferreira (650)766-0497
