Optional Post Hike Visit: Hallberg Butterfly Garden

Nestled among the apple orchards of Western Sonoma County, Hallberg Butterfly Gardens cover nine acres of overgrown vines, thickets, flowering pathways, and meadows as a wildlife sanctuary and demonstration garden with a focus on Lepidoptera (moths & butterflies) and other pollinators (bees, beetles, wasps, flies).

After our hike of the West County Trail and picnic lunch we will drive to the Gardens in the Graton/Sebastopol area for a self-guided hike. Participants must register - preference to Hiking Club Members - limit of 13. $5 donation suggested.
