About the event
We take off-the-beaten paths through Howarth Park, Spring Lake Regional Park and dip into Trione Annadel State Park on this mostly flat, 1/2 shaded out and back 3.5 mile walk on paved and dirt trails, at a leisurely pace. Newcomers especially welcome. Depart from Berger at 8:30 am sharp (note early departure time to avoid heat). Bring water (some water available in the parks) and sun protection; poles strongly suggested for rocky trails. Check OHC website Sept 4 for any updates.
