Short Hike: Santa Rosa Burbank Gardens Neighborhood and Arts District

Walk through one of S.R.'s earliest parks - Julliard, seeing the Church of One Tree (previously a museum for native son Robert Ripley), the lovely rose garden and bocce courts.  Then on to the S of A Street (SOFA) art district.  Moving on to a neighborhood behind The Burbank Garden property,  we'll notice some charming older homes, and then to the Burbank home and garden area.  A large plaque tells of the many plants, edible and flowering, that Burbank created/developed during his lifetime.

There are picnic tables, bathrooms and the visitor center; home tours are available 1-4pm.  ($8.50-seniors)
