SHORT Sonoma Developmental Center - North, South, East, West - POSTPONED!

This hike is postponed - no new date yet but will post in plenty of time!  The SDC has again been in the news lately, as private companies have been selected to develop the main campus area; we’ll learn about its "founders" vision 140 years ago, visit the historical cemetery, and get an update on conservation efforts from Sonoma Mountain Preservation leaders.  We’ll cover about 3 miles of level but often rough pavement walking, with stops to learn about the history, horticulture and possible future use of this community open space treasure.  Bring water and a snack or lunch to enjoy after the walk.   Depart Berger 9am.
