Tri Night Short: Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and Pillar Pt. Bluffs

We begin the adventure at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, 9mi north of Half Moon Bay for a brief visit to local tide pools (no touching or collecting), and then hike south through a tunnel of cypress trees.  Along the bluff trail is an overlook of a harbor seal beach.  Continuing above the shore break, we pass scenic reefs and coves of this wild coastline for a RT distance of approximately 3.5 mostly flat miles of dirt and paved paths.  Restrooms and water at the Reserve Lot.  Departs HMB Lodge at 9:30 am.  Directions:  Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, 200 Nevada Ave., Moss Beach, Hike Leaders  Carolyn Greene (805-443-7289), and Bob Matreci  (707-291-5472)
