Sugarloaf Vista Loop Jan. 27, 2022
Nine of us made the rather arduous climb up the Hillside, Vista and Headwaters trails, descending via Bald and Lower Bald. Gorgeous day. The trail up ran through forest alongside a creek for much of the way. Stunning views of Mt. Diablo, Mt. Tam, and glimpse of the snow-covered Sierras on the way across to Bald and down. 5,1 miles, over 1200 ft. Elevation gain.
