White

Cow Parsnip, Heracleum maximum, (I told someone it was Hog Fennel - I was wrong). Very large leaves, large petiole sheathing, large flat topped flower head

Yarrow, Achillea millefolium, medium sized, flat topped flower head, feathery-looking leaves.

Yellow

Hairy Cat’s Ear, Hypochaeris radicata, dandelion in appearance. Non-native.

Coastal Spike Weed, Deinandra corymbosa, sunflower - like. Ray (outer) flowers with 3 lobes and disk (inner) flowers with black anthers (small black dots).

Slender Lotus, Lotus angustissimus, pea shaped flower, hairy leaves, non-native and/or

Bird’s Foot Trefoil, Lotus cornicalutus, pea shaped flower, non-hairy leaves, non-native

Red

Red Hot Poker, Kniphofia uvaria, upright red stalk, ornamental non-native.

Blue

Flax, Bienne spp. Slender, leafless stem. Non-native.

Dwarf brodiaea, Brodiaea terrestris. Six petals, blue with white centers, hugging the ground, very small. Native.

Green

Coastal button celery, Eryngium armatum, prostrate plant with greenish white petals, spiky looking. Native

Blue-eyed grass, Sisyrinchium californica. Dark blue flowers with yellow centers, long iris - shaped leaves. Member of the iris family, not a grass. Native.

Grass I couldn’t identify this one,I'm leaning towards the invasive one. its either one of these:

California hairgrass, Deschampsia cespitosa ssp. holchiformis, California hairgrass. The grass with purplish inflorescence. A native.

Velvet grass, Holcus lanatus, Purplish inflorescence. Invasive, non-native.
