Intermediate hike Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park
Nineteen of us took the Cathedral Trees Trail to Foothill, stopped for lunch at The Big Tree, and looped back on Prairie Creek Trail, 6.5 miles, 636 ft elevation gain. Glorious, huge trees, lush landscape with several types of ferns, some shoulder-high. We snacked on Salmon Berries along the trail.
