More China Camp SP pics
Fourteen of us toured China Camp Village with Martin Lowenstein, Executive Director of Friends of China Camp. They have the same setup as we do here with Jack London and Sugarloaf - volunteers help run the park and fundraise for the park.
China Camp is one of many Chinese settlements that once existed on the shores of San Pablo Bay. At one time over 800 people lived in this camp, catching and processing shrimp for export.
Then we took the Oak Ridge Drive Trail which offers sweeping views of the Bay and Richmond Bridge.
