Long Hikers

One of my favorite hikes with beautiful coastal views from the grass covered hills we hiked up, down the Russian Gulch to tall redwoods and doug firs, and up the steep Logger's Lament Trail to our hilltop lunch destination. All back downhill from there.

Really gnarly dude! Very old Douglas Fir tree trunk wrapped around boulders.

Huh? Never seen a cow do that before.... that's quite a load! I'm guessing the cow was a little upset that he couldn't get thru the gate and left his calling card to show his displeasure. "That's what I think of your stinking gate!"
