Short Hikers

On November 2, long-time Oakmonter, prize-winning author and very modest Yvonne Horn led another of her "hidden trails/back yards" of Oakmont, starting at the golf course. We wandered less than 2 miles, up/down, stairs, pavement/dirt trails, learning about how Oakmont "came to be". A highlight was a tour of the home H.N. Berger built for himself (on Singing Woods, as I recall?) with the best view in Oakmont, at least at that time. Thank you, Yvonne, for another enlightening and enjoyable morning! We hope you'll do it again.
