Intermediate Hike Tennessee Valley

NOTE EARLIER DEPARTURE TIME: This 7 mile hike with 1,000’ elevation gain is somewhat steep in places. We’ll climb the Miwok Trail out of Tennessee Valley (in Mill Valley) to the Coyote Ridge Trail, which (if we’re not fogged in) provides stunning 3600 views of the ocean, bay, valleys, and Mount Tam. Descending on the Coastal Trail fire road to Tennessee Valley, we’ll walk to the beach for lunch. From the beach it’s an easy 2 mile walk back to our cars on mostly flat trails through beautiful Tennessee Valley. Bring lunch, water, hiking poles. Heavy rain cancels.
