Intermediate
Starting out from the parking lot between the Sonoma Police Department and the Field of Dreams, we take the Spotted Fawn and Valley of the Moon trails in Montini Preserve and then to the Sonoma Overlook trail to beautiful views of the Sonoma Valley where we will stop and snack on a delicious Brownie from Bonnie.  Back down the Overlook trail  to the Toyon trail which leads to the north end of the historic Sonoma Mountain Cemetery where we will stop and pay our respects to the gravesites of Frank Matsuyama, Carrie Appleton Burlingame, John McCracken and General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo.  A total of 4.0 miles with 604 feet of elevation. The first half is uphill, the return is downhill.
Hike Leader Gary Andersen 360-778-9604
Short Strollers
Starting out from the same parking lot, you will leisurely stroll a few short blocks on the sidewalk to the Sonoma Plaza to take in the local shops, stopping along the way at one of the sidewalk cafes to enjoy one of  Bonnie’s Brownies along with a cup of coffee (Irish upon request) or the drink of your choice.  Distance in blocks or shops to be determined by the group conscience with  an estimated elevation of 10 feet.  Return to the parking lot to reunite with the intermediate hikers at approximately 11:15 am.
Stroller Leader is Bonnie Andersen  949-929-1415.
Rest Rooms
Clean, safe and secure restrooms are courtesy of the Sonoma Police Department for your
bio-break pleasure. Â The PD is right at the parking lot with public restrooms inside.
Lunch
We’ll all be enjoying lunch on the covered patio of La Hacienda restaurant in Boyes Hot Springs, just across the street from El Molino Central.  Very good and reasonably priced food with great service.  This will be on one bill so please, please bring enough cash to cover your food plus tax and 20% tip.
