About the event
This early April hike begins at the Silverado trailhead outside Calistoga; if leaving Calistoga on Hiway 29, this is just after the intersection with the Silverado Trail. The trail winds its rocky way up to the Holm’s Homestead over an old mercury mining road. This is an up-and-back hike of about 9 miles and 2000 feet elevation gain. Wildflowers may be spectacular. Great views!! Leave Berger at 8:30am, bring poles water and lunch. Hike leader Chris Jones 707 291 5461.
